PII table top show success

SUN VALLEY, CA-PPI Wholesale Office Supplies' Annual Table Top Show was held in its Sun Valley Warehouse on April 29th=30th. Hundreds of customers from five states attended the special "2001 Space Odyssey" Show and took advantage of show and backto-school specials from over 100 manufacturers and service providers.
Sales representatives dressed up both themselves and their booths to match the show's theme. PPI recognized Melissa McEvers-Gomez of Pilot Pen and Alex Shahoumian from 3M for the best costumes. Hal Feder & Associates and Alliance Sales and Marketing were awarded the best booth decoration.
Two Grand Prizes, Gateway Computer Systems, were given away. Bobbie Koch, Pierce College Bookstore and Joel Dulalia from Los Angeles City College were the winners. Mead Consumer & Office Products and Sanford Corporation supplied the two grand prizes.
Additionally, Wholesale Office Supplies presented Manufacturer of the Year honors to Avery Dennison at the 2001 Table Top Show. Manufacturers are evaluated on a tough set of criteria related to their responsiveness to PPI and the market. Sales and marketing support, speed in problem resolution, and overall congeniality are also considered.
