Dabbert succeeds Dave Kenworthy, Storey; Kenworthy, Des Moines, IA. Kenworthy served as chairman for the past three years and will remain active for the duration of his term on the board.

An active industry participant, Dabbert has served on the Board of Directors of the National Office Products Association (NOPA) and on the Board of Directors of NPA where he continues to represent the members by serving on the Board of Managers of the Business Products Group International (BPGI), a consortium comprised of 13 buying groups from the U.S., Canada, Australia, and Europe.

In announcing the new officers, Kenworthy stated, "Lyle has been a very dedicated and selfless volunteer for NPA. He has spent an incredible amount of time working on behalf of his fellow NPA members. He has earned a great reputation with the dealer community and also with our supplier partners. In convincing Lyle to accept the position, all members of the NPA board pledged to assist him and support him. My three years as chairman have been very rewarding and I'm pleased that we are strong in our programs, strong financially, and have a capable, experienced and motivated staff. I fully expect, under Lyle's leadership, that our group will continue to grow and continue to provide exceptional value to our members. I could always count on his complete backing. Now it's my turn to give him my 100% support."
