Persistence pays off: DC joins the UW-Madison team

Journal of the American Chiropractic Association, Sep 2002

Dr. Mackey advises chiropractic providers to tread lightly when entering the athletic arena. He emphasizes that he and the other LSM chiropractors have always worked to make themselves accessible to the Badger athletes and staff. Their patience and professionalism have paid off. "Don't be pushy," Dr.

Mackey advises. "It took me almost 12 years to be asked to come on staff. It takes a long time to develop that kind of trust and respect. It's not something you can rush."
