Antiques appraisal

Library Administrator's Digest, Feb 2001

The Antiques Appraisal Fair sponsored by the Friends in November was a great success. Chair Sandra Kusic and her able committee handled all the arrangements and were the hostesses and workers for the day. Over 100 persons brought items to be appraised during the fourhour period. In addition to appraisals, persons could buy tickets to win other treasures through a Chinese Auction. Interest in this new fund-raising event was so high that the Friends have decided to make it their annual fall project. Mark your calendars - the Second Antiques Appraisal Fair will be held on November 3, 2001.
