RECORD-BREAKING AT WARREN COUNTY - VICKSBURG
Library Administrator's Digest, Feb 2004
The Warren County-Vicksburg Public Library experienced another record-breaking year in 2003. From the development of programs and services, to an increase in the number of library visitors and program attendance, the library has shown increased usage in a wide variety of areas. The area where the library has demonstrated the biggest increase is in the total number of items circulated (checked out by patrons) in each fiscal year.
In the past 17 years, the library's circulation figures have grown dramatically. As more of Warren County's citizens have learned about the library's services, they have visited the library more frequently and checked out a larger number of items on each of their visits. The total number of items checked out per year at the library increased a whopping 76 percent, from 148,396 items to 261,537 items!
