USE OUR LAPTOP IN-HOUSE

Library Administrator's Digest, Sep 2006

If you need a computer for longer than the one hour limit on our public computers, we now have a laptop you can borrow to use in the library for two hours. We check it out to you, we hold your library card and one picture ID while you use it, and you can save your work to your CD or flash drive. Then you can e-mail it to yourself at home or at school, or take it to another computer, when one becomes free, and print from there.

The laptop has a wireless Internet capability and most places in the library are within the range of our wireless network. The laptop is perfect if you are working on a paper, writing a résumé, or doing research on the Internet.
