Report of the 2002 Nominating Committee

The Nominating Committee met in Washington, D.C., on September 28, 2002, for the purpose of nominating two candidates from each district for the Association's governing Council. The nominees are listed below, along with their disciplinary and institutional affiliations. Incumbents are designated by an asterisk. The Council districts are also listed and defined below. Biographical information on each candidate will accompany the ballots that are to be sent out on or about March 1, 2003. Ballots must be returned with a postmark not later than April 30, 2003. The committee expresses its thanks to all of the candidates for nomination, whether nominated or not, for their willingness to serve and for their commitment to the Association. Regulations concerning nominations by petition may be found in the Association's Constitution, Article V, Section 3.
