Explosion-proof Tube Sealer
Concerns about global warming and the destruction of the earth's ozone layer have companies changing to environmentally friendly gases for refrigeration systems. Because the new CFC free refrigerants are flammable it is unsafe to use the traditional open flame brazing or other welding methods, so AmTech has developed an explosion-proof tube sealer, the Ultraseal-20 EX.
The Ultraseal-20 EX seals copper and aluminum tubes up to 12mm in diameter without open flames or other ignition sources. Sealing charged tubes ultrasonically with the Ultraseal is safe and simple, requiring no special operator skill and no consumable material. The ultrasonic system uses low-cost, quick-change tooling to minimize setup and operating costs.
