East Penn Manufacturing, Lyon Station, Pennsylvania, received the Federal Mogul Corporation's awards for quality and on-time delivery, having repeatedly met the strict standards and qualifications set by the auto parts company. Presented by Tony Tomczak, Federal Mogul's director of supply chain management, the awards were offered for the first time this year.

For the Quality Award, suppliers must maintain a zero defect rate in parts per million throughout the calendar year. The standard for the On-Time Delivery award provides suppliers with a delivery window of one day early to zero days late from the due date.

East Penn, a leading manufacturer of lead-acid batteries and accessory products, has been supplying battery-related products to Federal Mogul since 1969.
