Shanghai Superpower Electronic Co. Ltd. has developed high-temperature, Li/SOCI batteries that feature an annual self-discharge rate of 90%.

Designed to suit water, gas and electricity meters, the batteries are available in profiles of 10mm x 45mm for 0.6Ah versions, 14.5mm x 33.5mm for 1Ah versions, 14.5mm x 50.5mm for 1.5Ah versions, 17mm x 33.5mm for 1.7Ah versions, 18.8mm x 50.5mm for 2.4Ah versions, 20mm x 50.5mm for 2.8Ah versions, 20mm x 65.0mm for 4Ah versions, 26mm x 50mm for 5.5Ah versions, 34mm ? 61.5mm for 1 OAh versions, and 34mm x 127mm for 20Ah versions. The operating temperature range is from -40°C to 150°C. Minimum orders are $ 1,000 and lead time is 15 days.
