Advanced Battery Technology, Jul 2004
Power Technology, Inc has contracted with Vebco Technologies, Vancouver, Canada, to produce prototypes for delivery for end users for field trials and testing for the design and development of a new battery technology.
Vebco assigned a five-member team of experienced engineers and process designers to meet this challenge.
Team leader Tataru Viorel, PhD, Peng, said, "We are very excited to have been awarded this contract with Power Technology to implement the technology in the field and to bring the reticulated lead-acid battery into the commercial realm. In the near future this will replace lead-acid batteries as we now know them."
