Tadiran to Supply Lithium Batteries to Neptune

Tadiran Batteries Ltd. of Israel will supply Neptune Technology Group with $5 million worth of its proprietary Pulses Plus lithium cylindrical cells and battery packs for water meters during 2005.

The Pulses Pack can supply high energy in extreme environmental and temperature conditions, and has a lifespan of up to 20 years. The features make the Pulses Pack batteries suitable for water, gas and electricity meters; toll booths; medical equipment; and military applications.

Tadiran Batteries CEO Yigal Carmi said, "The order from Neptune Technology will help consolidate the company's standing as the global leader in lithium batteries for the meter industry."
