LithChem Awarded SBIR

Advanced Battery Technology, Jul 2005

LithChem of Anaheim, California, has been awarded a Department of Energy Phase I SBIR to develop safer, nonflammable electrolytes for ultra capacitors. Novis Smith will lead this research program.

The company also was awarded a six-month program by the Office of Naval Research to develop its concept for a safe, hybrid primary battery. That program is being led by Joe Kejha.
