Spiritual Life, Fall 2000

To the Editor...

Please extend my congratulations to all who work so hard making "Spiritual Life" the wonderful gift it is to give and receive.

Sr. Mary, Bronx, NY

I'm not renewing. I was disappointed in seeing some of your articles. I was looking for more solid spirituality from Traditional, Catholic sources.

From the Editor ..

As Editor of spiritual life, I am very proud that our journal received several awards at the annual Catholic Press Association Awards Dinner in May of this year. We received awards for general excellence, best articles, and best covers. (They are listed in detail on page 160.) Much hard work goes into the process of making spiritual life an award-winning journal. So, I would like to thank all the staff members who put in a lot of hours to produce our fine quarterly: Br. Bryan Paquette, Br. Michael Stoegbauer, Sr. Robin Stratton, and Fr. Regis Jordan-all Carmelites. We work well together, and we hope that our efforts afford you an opportunity to read material that enhances your spiritual growth.

We especially want to thank Sr. Robin Stratton for all her hard work as Reviews Editor of spiritual life since spring 1997. She will be leaving this position at the end of the year-Thank you, Robin!

Edward O'Donnell, OCD, Editor
