Festival Aerospatial International de Neuchatel

Flight Journal,  Feb 1999  by Arduino, Roberta,  Casa, Franco

The Federation Aeronautique Internationale (FAI) declared 1998 "Air and Space International Year." During the week of August 25 to 30, the FAI and the Swiss Aero-Club Neuchatel celebrated by organizing an "airspace" festival that featured many aircraft flying choreographed routines to music. The diverse team displays included those by Moroccan team Marche Verte, French team Adecco, the PC-7 team and Patrouille Suisse; a Ctzech Skybox and a British Aerostar were among the planes put through their paces.

Attendees welcomed the opportunity to see such aerobatic world champions as Michael Goulian, Dominique Roland, Jurgis Kairys, Peter Besenyei, Ramon Alonso, Svetlana Kapanina and others fly in a CAP-232, an Su-26 and 31 and Extra 300s.
