Museum seeks climate improvement

Flight Journal, Apr 2001

New York's Rhinebeck Aerodrome Museum may soon be able to keep its History of Flight building open all year and not only during the warmer months. If the museum is able to raise $50,000 by April 17, an additional $25,000 "Challenge Grant" will made available by the Thomas Thompson Trust (offered last November) to help pay for a climate-control system.

This system will help to preserve the museum's collection of rare vintage aircraft and antique vehicles, and it will allow the museum to offer educational programs during the winter.

For information, call Rhinebeck Aerodrome (845) 752-3200, or visit the museum's website: www.oldrhinebeck.org.
