Aviation photographers attends ISAP II

Flight Journal, Aug 2002 by Kaplan, Ron

The second annual International Symposium for Aviation Photography (ISAP II) was held in Mesa, Arizona, from February 28 through March 2. More than 75 photographers from the U.S. and abroad attended the presentations of notable peers from the military, commercial and historic aviation photography community. Technical and product presentations were made by Canon and Nikon USA, which co-sponsored ISAP II with Lockheed Martin, the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association and Boeing Helicopter.

Events included a tour and banquet at the Champlin Fighter Museum and a spectacular Apache Longbow demo above the rolling desert northeast of Phoenix, courtesy of Boeing Helicopter, whose Mesa facility hosted the multimedia presentations.

In February 2003, ISAP III will be held at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio, and will feature seminars, a public display of rare original aviation photographs from Wright library's vast collection and an exhibit by ISAP photographers.
