Highs: one of the least expensive forcefeedback-enabled controllers money can buy; easy setup, high-quality configuration software and clear instructions.

Lows: force-feedback effects seem coarse and unrefined, and construction quality is a bit low end.

Bottom line: not a bad general-use controller and good for the new simmer on a budget but serious flight-sim fans should look elsewhere and expect to spend more!

purchase for those on a tight budget, but achieving that low price is obviously a tradeoff between features and quality. In most of the games I tested the Rumble Force with, the force-feedback effects had a more general feel than those of the more expensive Cyborg 3D Force controller. The included configuration software is of high quality, and the supplied documentation and setup instructions were clear and straightforward.

Coming soon

One of the most popular WW II air combat sims of all time, Secret Weapons of the Luftwaffe, has long been a favorite of many flight-sim fans. LucasArts and Totally Games have announced that they're working on a new sim that is inspired by the original for release sometime in 2003.
