Rocket Belt pilot Bill Suitor inducted

Flight Journal,  Dec 2003  by DiGregorio, Barry

ON MAY 23, 2003, Bill Suitor, along with five other Western New York aviation pioneers, was inducted into the Niagara Frontier Aviation and Space Hall of Fame. The Niagara Frontier Aviation and Space Hall of Fame nominating committee has been active since 1876, one of the longest surviving committees. Its self-declared purpose is to "honor and enshrine all those men and women, who in their own unique way, contributed significantly to the history and development of aviation on the Niagara Frontier." The newly opened Niagara Aerospace Museum in Niagara Falls, New York, will be home to Bill Suitor's donated Rocket Belt and flight suit, along with his films and photographs.
