THE 1999 GATHERING OF Mustangs and Legends was one of the great aviation events of the 20th Century. Now, for the summer of 2006, Stallion 51 Corp. and the Reno Air Racing Foundation plan what will surely be one of this century's great aviation events-The Gathering of Mustangs and Legends: The Final Round Up. It will reunite the 1999 participants and attract many more Mustangs and their pilots plus the famous and the anonymous Mustang aces of WW II and Korea. The event will be the largest concentration of the U.S.'s most beloved fighter aircraft.

The event is likely to attract 100 Mustangs and 51 aces and other heroes, who will be honored for their accomplishments.

Activities will include a formation flight of 51 Mustangs, solo performances and other formation demonstrations. Organizers hope to include USAF Heritage Flights and numerous aerial activities and demonstrations. Of course, there will be many opportunities to photograph the planes up close. Certain aces,

legends and heroes who flew the Mustang will also be on hand for photographs and lectures and to share their experiences as Mustang pilots.
