NORTH AMERICAN AIRCRAFT 1934-1998, VOLUME 1
Narkiewicz//Thompson, 1331 South Birch Street Santa Ana CA 92707
Considering that NAA produced some of the world's most famous aircraft, it is surprising that more books devoted to the company and its products have not been published. Fortunately, this new volume helps correct that situation. The author takes on the project in a logical manner, detailing the company's rather complex evolution and then enters into numerous chapters on each of the company's aircraft, concluding with the Navy's FJ Fury series (a second volume will pick up from that point).
Numerous photographs are presented on each type along with relevant data. The author has done a good job picking interesting photographs and the publisher has done an excellent job on reproducing the material on highquality paper. Anyone interested in NAA and its aircraft will certainly want to add this book to their collection. Al
