Yanks Air Museum, Chino, California, is doing a great job of assembling an excellent collection of vintage and veteran aircraft but one of their most recent acquisitions is anything but a flyer. " When I found out it was going to be scrapped, I just couldn't let that happen," stated Yanks director Ron Blondell.

Built ot rescue survivors in sunken submarines, the craft looks not unlike a ballistic missile when sitting on its cradle.
