Got the father, not the son!

Air Classics, Feb 2003 by Blair, Morgan

While researching some early aspects of the P-51 Mustang, I read the excellent book Eagle Squadron by Vern Haugland. Quite unexpectedly, I came across the following statement in a discussion of early Eagle Squadron victories and losses: "Eagles Sprague's and Harrington's Spits collided. Harrington bailed out and after the war became a pilot and engineer for actor Cliff Robertson's Spitfire Mk. IX and three Tiger Moths. Later, Harrington died in the crash of a Twin Beech near Abha, Saudi Arabia, on 3 September 1967, where he was a contract pilot for an oil company. Killed with him was his passenger, Sheik Bin Ladin."

Morgan "Mac" Blair

When I first read the book a couple of years ago, the name meant nothing but after 11 September it took on a different significance. It was obviously the father and I thought readers might be interested.
