Restoration well on its way to completion

Yanks Air Museum, Chino, California, probably has the most active restoration shop in the world and this installment of "Warbird Report" profiles some of the aircraft. Derived from the Spirit of St. Louis, the Ryan Brougham was an extremely significant aircraft in the evolution of American general aviation. Yanks obtained a bedraggled example that had last been utilized as a bush plane in Alaska. A multi-year restoration is now nearing completion and, as can be seen, workmanship is magnificent. When completed, this will be the only flying example of a Brougham.
