Daniel Webster College and the CoUings Foundation combine forces

Mark your calendar now for the Daniel Webster College 2004 Aviation Heritage Festival, the premier aviation festival of New England. Offering legendary aircraft from all eras, the festival offers a wonderful opportunity for adults, including veterans and seniors, as well as kids of all ages! Partnering with Daniel Webster College for the 2004 Aviation Heritage Festival will be the nationally recognized Collings Foundation which will have a significant portion of their aircraft collection on display.

This year's Daniel Webster College Aviation Heritage Festival, slated for Saturday and Sunday, 25-26 September, promises to appeal to all ages and interests, with opportunities for up-close experiences with legendary aircraft and speakers from all eras of aviation. The assortment of people and planes as well as displays and exhibits makes the Aviation Heritage Festival unique and different from many airshows and aviation displays.

The Collings Foundation will be in attendance with the famous "Bomber Duo" of the Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress Nine-o-Nine and the Consolidated B-24 Liberator Dragon and His Tail. Joining them will be the Collings Foundation's North American B-25 Mitchell Tondelayo, General Motors TBM-3 Avenger, North American AT-6 Texan, and Boeing PT-17 Stearman. These aircraft will be available to afford people the opportunity to "fly a mission" throughout the festival for a donation. Also in attendance will be the Collings Foundation's 2004 Oshkosh Grand Champion Vought F4U-5NL Corsair and the rare and unique Fiesler Fi-156 Storch. Luftwaffe STOL observation aircraft. Other aircraft in attendance will be the American Airpower Museum's Republic P-47 Thunderbolt and Curtiss P-40 Warhawk, Michael Potter's Supermarine Mk. XVI Spitfire, Dr. Michael Schloss' Douglas AD-4 Skyraider, and Bob Barnaskas' North American P-51D Mustang. Many more antique and classic aircraft as well as modern military fly-bys are expected
