The Twin Beech Society, part of the Staggerwing Museum Foundation, has printed a new large format hook on the historic Model 18. Beech 18: A Civil & Military History by Robert K. Parmerter contains a stunning 567 pages, 275,000 words, and more than 730 (350 in color) photographs and offers the most in-depth account of this ageless aircraft outlining a long and varied service life of close to 70 years. The book specifies, details, and illustrates the twelve civil models and 50 military variants as well as the conversions completed by 70 modification companies. Personal accounts from pilots, crews, and owners add color to the technical history. Weighing in at more than six pounds, the book covers the 9000 Twin Beeches produced.
