CONNECTICUT NURSES' FOUNDATION'S SILENT AUCTION

Connecticut Nursing News, Jun-Aug 2005

One purpose of the Connecticut Nurses' Foundation is to provide annual scholarships and research grants. These funds have assisted many nurses to pay tuition and help with research expenses. CNF's efforts to assist nurses as they advance in the profession is critical at this time.

One of our fundraisers has been CNF's Silent Auction held at the CNA annual convention. It's fun and successful! Why? There has always been a wide selection of articles to choose from. Make a bid! Terrific gifts for a member of your family, colleague or yourself. And . . . help contribute to CNF by donating a craft or nursing item that you have tucked away. Be generous!

Here are a few suggestions:

Dolls

Posters

Games

Figurines

Nursing Memorabilia

Hand-made Articles

Books

Writing/Note Paper

Set of Mugs

"Goodie Baskets"

Please contact CNA by calling 203-238-1207 ext. 10 or email: Amy@ctnurses.org with your donation. Please no 'white elephant' items...

Some items we've already received ...

Tote bag: Handcrafted and one of a kind!

Cherry Ames books: For the collector, 3 of our famous nurses adventures.

Several books signed by authors.

Framed card of the Carolyn Ladd Widmer Building at UConn campus.

And much more ...
