Aboriginal Nurse, The, Jul 2006

On March 14 and 21,2006 our Quebec representatives Cynthia Morris and Louise Godbout delivered a presentation at the First Nations and Inuit Health Branch (FNIHB) Regional Meeting in Montreal. Participants included nurses who are employed by First Nations and Inuit Health Branch. It was requested during this presentation that A.N.A.C. translate their documentation for francophone members.

Each year, A.N.A.C. participates on the Nursing Award of Excellence Selection Committee. This year, Cynthia was the representative from A.N.A.C. to assist in reviewing several applicants and helped select one individual for each of the following categories: FNIHB employee, band-employed, health transferred employee and an applicant from a northern and Inuit community.
