Military Medicine, Summer 2005

The annual AMSUS-SM Golf Outing was held on 14 June at Andrews Air Force Base. The 80 plus golfers who participated all had a good day despite the very hot, humid weather. Our thanks go to Bill Bride for making all the arrangements for this annual event and to Bob Steppling for his assistance in recruiting and fund raising

The AMSUS-SM meeting was held 15 June at the Marriott Washington hotel. Attendees heard presentations from CoI James H. Young, USAF, BSC, Director, DoD Pharmacy Programs, CAPT Robert Pittman, USPHS, Principal Pharmacy Consultant, Indian Health Services and Steve McManus who provided a DSCP/RFID Update.
