Military Medicine, Fall 2005

The AMSUS-SM section met on 21 September at the Metro Center Marriott in Washington, DC. Attendees heard presentations from Jonathan Perlin, MD, Undersecretary for Health, Veterans Health Administration, Department of Veterans Affairs; Lynn C. Sanders, Pharm D., Director, Pharmacy Re-engineering Project Department of Veteran's Affairs; Fred Downs, VHA Chief Prosthetics and Clinical Logistics Officer; and Dr. Bernie Good from the Pittsburgh VA Medical Center. One new company, EWyatt Consulting, LLC, was approved for membership. The next meeting of the section will be held Tuesday, 1 November at 3:15 p.m. at the Opryland hotel in Nashville, TN.
