John R. Schindler is a writer and historian specializing in intelligence affairs and strategic studies. He is a PhD (History, 1995) from McMaster University. He is author of several articles as well as Isonzo: The Forgotten Sacrifice of the Great War (2000) and the forthcoming Redl: Spy of the Century.
