Auction funds AzNA capital improvements

Arizona Nurse,  Nov 1999

Once again one of the convention highpoints was Anne McNamara, PhD, RN, Official Auctioneer. This year she was featured as a Spanish matador, complete with red cape. A surprise to her, after the auction was well underway, was the charge of a bull into the center ring. After several dangerous passes, the bull dissolved into Jennifer Miller and Mario Mendevil, SNAAZ board members.

In spite of the heart stopping charge by the bull, Matador McNamara raised $3,542.50, a record for this popular event. It should be noted that SNAAZ's silent auction earned the student $386.50.
