Dr. Judith Effken recently received a $20,000 planning grant from the New Learning Environments and Instructional Technologies Program to develop the curriculum for a Tri-University PostMaster's Certificate in Healthcare Informatics. Faculty and staff from the University of Arizona will be working with colleagues at Arizona State University to develop the joint program.
This collaborative effort will meet the needs of students and the health care community while avoided expensive duplication of effort in the academic environment.
