This award ($3000) is distributed annually to a graduate student in the health or social services disciplines Dr. Nelson is the late fromer Deputy Minister of Health for Alberta and in honour of her commitment to the health of children, the Award is particualry intended to provide opportunity to study in fields related to services for children.
