The authors describe personal experiences and their reflections about stroke recovery and the healing process.

Liz Pearl is an independent educator and therapist specializing in psychogeriatrics and the expressive art therapies. She has implemented and facilitated many stroke support groups and is the co-editor of Mourning has Broken-A Collection of Creative Writing about Grief and Healing.
