Sour ambassador
Nine people from the South Dakota Synod went to Managua, Nicaragua. A portion of the sending-off liturgy in the St. Mark Lutheran Church, Sioux Falls, S.D., bulletin read: "Members of St. Mark are sending Reynold Nesiba to Nicaragua a sour ambassador." Despite the bulletin's description, I tried to be a sweet and well-tempered ambassador in all my dealings in Nicaragua.
