Still dreaming

Lutheran, The, Aug 2004

On Aug. 28, 1963, Martin Luther King Jr. gave a vision for the country's future as he told Americans "I have a dream" in a speech to one-quarter million people gathered at the Lincoln Memorial, Washington, D.C. To mark the 40th anniversary of King's historic address, Augsburg Fortress, Publishers, gathered seven leaders in religion and theology to reflect on the country's continuing challenge.

I Have a Dream: Martin Luther King Jr. and the Future of Multicultural America was released this month (see www.fortresspress.com).
