Mitek systems renews recognition technology agreement with BancTec

Document recognition technology developer Mitek Systems (858-513-4600 / www. miteksys.com) has renewed a multi-year, enterprise licensing agreement with BancTec (800-BANCTEC / www.banctec. com), a worldwide systems integration, manufacturing and services company. The licensing agreement for the purchase of Mitek's suite of recognition products will allow BancTec to continue the integration of Mitek's recognition-based products, including QuickStrokes, CheckScript and QuickFX Pro, into BancTec's Integrated Document and e-Business, banking and payment product lines.
"Mitek's recognition products are used in many facets of our business,' said BancTec VP Mark Fairchild. "Our customers will continue to derive significant benefits from this technology, such as increased recognition rates and more accurate change of address detection."
