Seac Banche establishes U.S. subsidiary

To meet the growing U.S. demand for flexible and affordable check scanning and image reading hardware. Seac Banche S.p.A. (39-055-8826117 / www.seacbanche.com) has established a U.S, subsidiary, and is building on its network of U.S. resellers. Although it has done business in the United States for five years. Seac Banche believes that its new subsidiary, Seac Banche U.S.A., Inc., will be more responsive to its customers, and to evolving industry trends.
Atlanta-based Seac Banche USA, Inc., which includes sales, marketing and technical support operations, is one of six new offices/subsidiaries established by Seac Banche S.p.A. to serve a regional market in the past five years. Founded in 1987, Seac Banche S.p.A. has installed more than 400,000 units on five continents, Its users include Allied Irish Bank, Banco Popular, Deutsche Bank, and Lloyds TSB.
Current U.S. partners include Alogent, Carreker, Advanced Financial Solutions (AFS), and RT Lawrence.
"Banks worldwide are replacing cumbersome, paper-intensive processes with digital check imaging solutions to increase efficiency and better serve their customers," said Heiko Oberman, president of Seac Banche U.S.A. "The combination of growing consumer interest in viewing images via the Internet, and the likely approval of the Check Truncation Act, will significantly increase this demand for flexible image solutions.
