Recognition software developer-Parascript (www.parascript.com) has released AddressScript CM 4.1, the latest version of its address recognition software for the commercial mail industry. Address Script CM 4.1 offers increased recognition capabilities to read both machine print and handwritten addresses on letters and flats, and further enhance and automate mail delivery.

AddressScript CM 4.1 also offers the ability to read information on virtually any mail piece, with the ability to process an entire envelope image, flats image or an address block image from a given mail piece, label or parcel. Additional features include a read rate that is 8 percent higher than the previous version, the ability to process flats, and enhanced reporting and license management features.

Parascript's AddressScript CM software is based on the company's core Total Recognition technology that recognizes all character types cursive, handprint and machine print.
