NetDeposit & Orbograph Integrate

Today, Jun 2005

NetDeposit (www.net-deposit.biz) has agreed to integrate Orbograph's (www.orbograph.com) Image Quality Analysis and Image Usability Analysis and CAR/LAP technology into its NetCapture product family.

According to Orbograph president Joe Gregory, the integrated solution will reduce the image quality risks associated with electronic check and IRD clearing. "NetDeposit can now provide customers with robust image usability testing at all levels," Gregory said. "We're proud to expand our growing presence in the post Check 21 environment."

"In the Check 21 market, where images will be captured by corporate customers or branch tellers, image quality risk is a real concern," said Danne Buchanan, president of NetDeposit. Adding the Orbograph technology to the NetCapture products gives our customers additional options to reduce risk and improve accuracy."

Orbograph's Image Quality and Usability Analysis (IQUA) solution uses a series of advanced algorithms to determine if there is a suspected problem with the image. Several individual quality and usability tests are performed on each check to verify field readability and more tests are being added as industry readability standards are defined. Financial institutions can set image quality and usability thresholds at an individual customer level, if needed.
