Image Processing Software Remit 7000

Remittance processing software provider Remit Plus has sold its core payment processing software Remit 7000 to AudioTel Corporation (www.audiotel.com), a provider of software for financial institutions. The Remit 7000 product provides solutions for check and payment image processing. The Remit Plus company, formerly (www.remitplus.com), served a variety of organizations, including private companies, city municipalities, and nonprofit organizations.

"With my customers in mind, I was very careful about picking the right company to purchase the Remit 7000 product," said Fred Campos, president and owner of Remit Plus. "AudioTel has exemplary business practices and an excellent reputation," he continued, "and I'm delighted with this sale and am looking forward to joining the sales team with AudioTel and taking the Remit 7000 product to the next level."

Scott Doores, president and CEO of AudioTel, believes that the acquisition will enhance and strengthen AudioTel's position. "We want to welcome the Remit Plus customers and will provide them with the same excellent service we give all our customers."

The Remit 7000 product is a turnkey, automated, image-based solution for remittance and payment processing. This system provides the ability to capture images of checks that have been submitted for payment and credit the payments to customer's accounts without manual key entry. The scalable Remit 7000 product can be used by any organization that processes payments, from large lockbox providers and financial institutions to small non-profit organizations.
