Steve Rizzo Keynotes General Session

Today, Aug 2005

"Don't Just Accept Change...Embrace It!"

Always a Forum highlight, this year's keynote promises to be no exception. Recognizing the member's appreciation for not only an entertaining speaker, but one who also brings a valuable message, TAWPI has scheduled Steve Rizzo to open this year's General Session.

Through his own and other people's stories, Steve reveals how humor can affect our perceptions of challenging circumstances and life's tragedies. Sometimes life's changes come by way of choice and sometimes they are forced upon us by circumstances beyond our control. Either way, according to Rizzo, "Change is a part of life that is needed in order for us to grow to our full potential."

Steve is a well-known expert on how to acquire a positive attitude both professionally and personally. Steve is the author of the awardwinning book "Becoming a Humor Being" and the creator of his own nationally syndicated PBS special. He has appeared on SHOWTIME, EVENING AT THE IMPROV, COMIC STRIP LIVE, THE COMEDY CHANNEL, and many other network and cable shows.

If ever there was a need for levity, creativity, and inspiration in our lives, Steve Rizzo, the "Attitude Adjuster" provides that message in a way that will promote peak performance from everyone. In this keynote session Steve will demonstrate proven techniques that use humor as a tool to control negative emotions, and overcome obstacles that keep you from success, happiness, and inner peace.

A book-signing with Steve Rizzo in the Exhibit Hall will immediately follow his presentation. His book "Becoming a Humor Being" offers the tools needed to reprogram thinking to control negative emotions.
