BancTec Wins Large Canadian Contract

Document and payment processing solution provider, BancTec (www.banctec.com) has been awarded a six-year, $16 million contract to provide a remittance, data and image processing solution for the Revenue Operations and Client Services Branch of the Ontario Ministry of Finance (OMF). The contract includes an option for an additional four years of maintenance and professional services.

"We're proud to have developed a solution for OMF from the BancTec portfolio," said Mike Fallin, senior VP and president of the Americas for BancTec. "Centered on BancTec's PayCourier remittance platform, it will be integrated with our archive, image quality and capture solutions."

"A key part of the Ministry of Finance's mission is to promote efficiency in the delivery of government services," said Pat Doherty, director, Revenue Operations and Client Services Branch of the OMF."

The replacement system requires a complete endto-end solution that includes hardware, software, professional services, hardware maintenance, software support and consumables.
