* Call to membership for inclusion on Website as content experts. Please contact Diane Madras.

* Membership voted on a new logo to accompany the name change of the Section. Membership's choice will need approval by APTA and will appear for CPS after approval.

Publications (Sandy Cassady)

* Please see submitted report.

* Sandy announced her intention to step down as Editor of the Journal. Interested candidates should contact the Vice President of the Section (Ellen Hillegass).

* The membership recognized and applauded Sandy for all of her efforts during her tenure as Editor of the Journal.

Research (Tanya LaPier)

* Discussion about scheduling, attendance, and numbers of research platforms at CSM. Research Committee to work with Programs to address these issues.

* Research Committee would like to start a bibliography/database of researchers in cardiovascular and or pulmonary practice. Research Committee to contact membership possibly through the journal.

* Best platform (Dr. Kurt Mossberg) and best poster (Dr. Joesph Norman) announced.

* Please see submitted report.

Specialty Council (Dianne Jewell for Tammy Burl is)

* Please see submitted report.

* Call to membership from specialty council for vacancies on both section specialty council and CCS representative to ABPTS. Those interested please contact Andrea Blake at the APTA Specialist Certification Department. Congratulations to new specialists.

Additional Business

* Membership charged Executive Board to review and revisit entry-level competencies for cardiovascular and pulmonary practice.

Membership recognized outgoing President Steve Tepper with a gift of appreciation for his efforts and leadership while President of the Section.
