UV Laser
The Paladin 355 from Coherent (Santa Clara, CA) is a high-power, all-solid-state, diode-pumped, frequency-tripled, mode-locked ultraviolet laser. It provides up to 8 W at 355 nm with a repetition rate of 80 MHz. In addition to excellent beam quality, the laser can be fully computer-controlled via an RS-232 interface. A modular design, consisting of laser head, power supply, and closedloop chiller for temperature stabilization of the laser head, allows for easy integration and serviceability in the OEM system.
