Dear Colleague

Nurse Practitioner, Apr 2000 by Reich, Elizabeth

The National Association for Women's Health (NAWH) is pleased to endorse Springhouse Corporation's new series, "A Guide to Women's Health." We're confident you'll find information here that you'll want to include in your patient teaching. We're also sure you'll find tips and pointers that you can use yourself.

NAWH is dedicated to improving the quality of women's health by integrating the best of science, clinical practice, business, and policy. NAWH is the only nonprofit, membership-based professional organization in the nation that brings together leaders and decision makers in women's health. Our goal is to develop standards of excellence across all industries serving women's health.

NAWH represents the six major constituencies-providers, suppliers, payers, employers, government representatives, and consumers-that affect the quality of women's health each day through direct patient visits, educational programming, advocacy and policy making, product development, and direct reimbursement. Our members accounted for 70%II of Self magazine's recent list of the top 10 best women's centers in the United States and the best quality hospitals for maternity services in the United States.

NAWH's Annual Summit on Women's Health focuses on vision, leadership, networking, and the business of women's health. These executive summits bring together industry leaders who provide insight into the major trends and developments that affect all professionals who work in women's health.

We invite you to join our efforts in enhancing the quality of women's health. You can call our national office at 312-786-1468, fax us at 312-786-0376, or visit our Web site at http:J/www.nawh.org. We look forward to having you join this important effort to enhance women's health services.

Sincerely, Elizabeth Reich President

National Association for Women's Health
