IN MEMORY OF FATHER DRINAN
Georgetown Journal of Legal Ethics, The, Spring 2007 by Weeman, Lauren A
On January 28, 2007, The Georgetown Journal of Legal Ethics lost its founder and relentless champion, Father Robert F. Drinan, SJ. Father Drinan accomplished incredible things during his life. He was dedicated to countless causes and inspired endless faith. For the past twenty years, he committed himself to elevating the stature of legal ethics as both a discipline and a practice. This Journal is the result of his belief in the importance of the legal ethics, and its success is the result of his unwavering support.
The Editors and Staff of Volume XX dedicate this issue of the Journal to Father Drinan. We mourn his loss and miss his presence deeply. I know that all who have been, are, and someday will be involved with The Georgetown Journal of Legal Ethics will continue to work hard to make Father Drinan's legacy in this important field endure. May his spirit continue to inspire us, and to guide us.
