Missouri: Drug peddlers caught using business cards
Juvenile Justice Digest, Nov 30, 2001
Authorities captured two drug dealers preying on the suburban schools of Belton using the business cards the dealers handed out to students.
Collus Watson, 26, and Raymond Bentley, 18, were arraigned on felony charges of distributing drugs near a school.
Watson and Bentley allegedly distributed cards reading "Dunn Deal Enterprises." Some of the cards had the illustration of a fist holding a wad of cash; others blatantly showed what appeared to be a marijuana leaf. All had a phone number, which officials used to trap the suspects.
Police first began to investigate reports of drugs in Belton High School and Yeokum Middle School after a seventh-grader was caught with marijuana in early November.
