Topic: RSS FeedKesselsKramer: Be daring or invisible
Graphis, Jan/Feb 2001 by Metz, Tracy
According to Johan Kramer, who is particularly interested in film and does a lot of the agency's directing, more than three quarters of the commercials KesselsKramer makes are produced and directed in-house. "In our new extension-the nunnery's wafer bakery next door to the church here-we will be starting our own production company. We are working not only on commercials, but also on short films, documentaries and videoclips."
Though based in Amsterdam, KesselsKramer is staffed with personnel from around the world-Sweden, Turkey, China, Germany, Scotland, Brazil, America, Japan. Their version of "corporate culture" is a far cry from being exclusively Dutch, so one of their goals for the coming year is to start working for one or two international clients. But that shouldn't be a problem for them. They have shown that they can go deep, now they are going broad. They would rather be daring than invisible.
